Finally, here we are! me and another 3 friends explorer Langkawi in 1 day trip. :)
At first, only me and a friend take a bus to Kedah ~ my hometown actually. The bus ride from KL - Kedah is RM 39. Stay at my own home so cost saving. *hehe*
We suppose take the 1st ferry to Langkawi but when we arrived at home, share story and etc.... we decide to call the other 2 friends. After some discussion, we go to Kuala Kedah jetty to buy ferry ticket; the 1st ferry and also the last ferry on the next day. The first ferry was at 7 am and our last ferry was at 6.30 pm. The ferry ticket cost us RM 46 per person for return and the duration is approximately 1 hour 45 minutes. But if u take ferry from Kuala Perlis jetty, it's will cost RM 36 for return ticket & duration time is approximately 1 hour 15 minutes.
The other 2 friends arrived at Shahab Perdana bus station around 5 am in the morning. After a short snap at my home, my sister send us to Kuala Kedah jetty. It's dark and quite cool while we are waiting for our ferry.
We had a blast on the way there. My friends actually want to go out and take a few photo from ferry top section but we are lucky enough to be invited to captain cabin. Even more, we all had chance to drive the ferry and the captain and others are so nice, teaching us this and that. hahah... so unusual experience for us!
Lets enjoy our Langkawi trip aka heartbroken trip whereby we explorer Langkawi in 1 day!
We arrived at jetty around 8 am. Take cab to Kuah town. Having our breakfast and walking around. It's still early and no shops open yet.
After fill our cute tummy with breakfast, continue walking then we come across the taxi driver who offer us a cab to explore Langkawi. It's only RM 100 for 1 cab so we grab that chance and start our journey.
The taxi driver is so nice and we feel very comfortable with him. Here is the place that we manage to go in one day Langkawi's getaway:
~ Mahsuri's Tomb - Padang Matsirat
~ Field of Burnt Rice
~ Snake Sactuary - Kg Tok Senik Resort
~ Tanjung Rhu for lunch
~ Dataran Lang
~ Kuah Town
it's quite a rush actually and we only choose few places actually. There is a lots more attractions in Langkawi and lots more beaches. Hahaha... but we plan for that on our next trip.Maybe.
