Throwback ~ Edinburgh

Edinburgh; didn't plan to visit this till I received an invitation to join Women in Sciences from my department. It's start with workshop which is Wikimedia read-a-thon then follow with a talk from 3 important women in Sciences. Actually, aku rasa this workshop & talk is target the local students but hahaha... aku dgn selambanya pegi register & got the place. Alhamdulillah and since suma  travel cost ditanggung oleh Electronic Department so kiranya nie lebih kurang mcm working-trip instead of short-break. hahaha!
Edinburgh is nice; seriously! buat aku mcm regrets ckit napa la aku pegi reject Edin Uni. it's quite close to beach which I'm totaly love to heard the wave sound kalu bleh every single day. On the way pegi tu; mmg cantik sgt view dia. nmpk laut & I was smiling along the way. seriously, mmg best! since the talk finihs quite late so aku request if aku bleh stay & coming back on the next day; nasib lps, so dorg bookkn hotel suma utk aku. best siot, pegi jln tp xyah kluar duit. hehehehehhe!! smpt la aku jelajah Edin 1 ari tp x smpt nk pegi dia punya Marina. mmm... will surely going there again. :D

Throwback ~ London

Another short break.... LONDON. pegi sbb Mas ada conference apa ntah dkt London from Jumaat smp Isnin & dia fly from Aberdeen to London, so since abes btn xde jmp dia, aku pegi jer la. it's quite adhoc la gak... bli train tix Khamis mlm & lucky enough with railcard only cost me around GBP 60 for return tix. actually bleh dpt lg murah if bli awl but yela, dh kata adhoc kan. hahaha! aku gerak g London Sabtu pagi, smp dlm pkl 9 lebih mcm tu. jln2 sorg2 as usual; amek Hop On Hop Off which cost me GBP 28 for two days. jenuh gak la aku pusing2 London 2 ari tu. 1st tu jmp sorg student from Nottingham; bdk archi, sorg2 gak dia pn. so jln2 ler sama2 dh masing2 amek pakej sama utk HOHO tu kan. well... not bad; ada gak la member nk sembang2. dh puas pusing blue route ari sabtu, aku gerak g hostel. nie plg murah aku dpt & dkt dgn metro. cost me GBP 15 per night. well... hostel, so don't expect too much but lucky me, Alhamdulillah, female dorm, clean & tidy. Ahd tu smbg HOHO lg, kali nie amek red route plak. pastu amek boat pegi Greenwish; nmpk la bola merah yg dorg guna tentukan timing tu dkt Greenwish tp since aku nmpk tu time otw nk blk dh so xde la pegi dkt2; usya dari jauh jer. huhuhu! time tgh jln2 dkt Oxford st, bru la dpt contact si Mas. pegi office MARA nk jmp dia. then meet up with her fren from Aberdeen & London as well. dinner dkt TukDin which mmg totally Malaysian cuisine; sedap & not so pricey! Alhamdulillah, tp dkt TukDin xde laksa. hahaa! x sure la napa. apa pn, London is ok to visit for couple of days but nk live there... maybe not for me. too crowded! lbh teruk than KL so InsyaAllah, akn avoid utk plh keja di London. :P

Throwback ~ Leeds

Leeds ~ unplanned plan. hahaha!! time nie sbnrnya dh bosan & serabut la lbh kurang. so nk jln2 tp xtau nk g mna. since Leeds dkt jer dgn York so pegi la... pegi naik bus & it's cost us about £ 7.50 for return ticket. kitorg pegi blk ari jer pn. mainly pegi city centre pastu g jln2 area uni la lbh krg. lucky my fren yg pegi skali ada mmbr dkt Leeds so he is our tour guide la lbh krg. well... Leeds rmai Muslim & Malaysian pn rmai dkt Uni of Leeds tu. even one of Malaysian tu study dkt York, satu department dgn aku but stay dkt Leeds sbb wife dia study dkt Leeds so everyday ada class he travel la from Leeds to York. Leeds ~ York if by bus lbh krg 50 mnts, if buy train lbh krg 15 ~ 20 mnts so kira dkt la. so xyah nk citer pnjg, usya la ckit sebanyk gmbr dkt bwh nie.. hehehe!!
